The PCC is currently running the Save Sullivans Campaign to preserve public access to the Upper Verde River area known as Sullivan’s Canyon.

The Prescott Climbers Coalition (PCC) is the Local Climbing Organization for climbing areas in the City of Prescott & Prescott National Forest.

Our mission is to achieve a balance between the freedom to climb rock and a desire to safeguard the environment, whilst preserving the experience.

What We Do

The PCC is a community of climbers in the Prescott area who are dedicated to advocacy and stewardship of this area. We come together to take on the problems of today.

Who We Are

From trail work and bolt-replacement, to developing sustainable climbing management plans with land managers and removing graffiti in our public spaces.

How to Help

We do everything we can to help climbers in their advocacy and stewardship work, by providing a platform of support for the community. How can we help you?

Est. 1991

For over 30 years we’ve been working to have sustainable, clean, and safe climbing practices in the Prescott area.

Protect & Conserve Lands

We begin with a comprehensive understanding of the lands that we climb on. Then we build relationships with land managers and land protection agencies to secure these spaces for future generations to enjoy.

Building Community

We facilitate community socials and clean-up events, which help foster long-term relationships with all stakeholders: climbers, local businesses, and land managers. Additionally, we function as a central hub for any local advocates to be supported in performing their work.

Exemplifying Stewardship

Using best-practices and continuing education, we employ tools that remove graffiti without the need to deteriorate the rock and replace bolts 1:1. Helping keep our public spaces clean and climbing routes safe for climbing.
